Lua and Raeth Ball Designs

This is a final design of some fancywear for Lua'nar and 's Raeth who are going to a Ball in one RP they're both in over on the fabulous 's RP site: [link]

Both designs are inspired by one of my favorite Art Deco designer Erté. I love his long flowing lines and I tried to reflect that in these designs as well as mirror their personalities in them. Hence Lua'nar has the warm colors, Raeth the cool ones.

However this drawing is also showing my terrible art rut I'm in as both their anatomies are just wonky. Yes, Lua'nar is taller than Raeth, but her hips and legs are just to elongated like Barbie proportions which is just wrong. Then her arms... Oy, so not the same length. Raeth is slightly better, but slightly too chunky. He should be willowy-sexy... *sigh*
